James Wates has been appointed chairman of the Construction Industry Training Board’s ConstructionSkills, taking over from the current chair, Sir Michael Latham, at the end of March
Mr Wates, who will earn pound;22,500 a year for the two-day-a-week post, has been a member of the CITB- ConstructionSkills board for seven years and is a commissioner for the UK Commision for Employment and Skills.
