The Teachers’ TV contract could be snapped up by a Welsh company. Llanelli-based Tinopolis revealed on Monday that it is heading the bid for the channel through its Mentorn and Tinopolis Interactive divisions. It has teamed up with Channel Four, The Guardian newspaper and the London-based Institute of Education for the attempt to win the franchise. Film producer Lord David Puttman and The South Bank Show presenter Lord Melvyn Bragg are behind the bid.
