Charities merge to pool expertise

Two education charities have merged to form a new learning charity called continyou. The Community Education Development Centre and Education Extra have joined forces to “to pool our expertise and to respond more effectively to the learning needs of local communities”, according to continyou’s chief executive, Phil Street. The new charity will focuson developing community learning initiatives.
