The TESUNICEF campaign “Children Helping Children” runs until the end of the summer term, backed up by teaching materials to help bridge the cultural gap between children in Afghanistan and Britain. It aims to provide:

* learning kits for 1.5 million pupils

* training and materials for 60,000 primary teachers

* emergency repairs for all primary schools

* catch-up classes for girls

* adult literacy

* counselling for traumatised children

* Send us your ideas and tell us how your school is helping the appeal on afghanappeal@tes.co.uk
