An exhibition at Scotland Street School Museum in Glasgow until September 15 explores the world of illustrated children’s books. A Baker’s Dozen, co-curated by children’s laureate Quentin Blake, features illustrations from classic Roald Dahl and Hans Christian Anderson tales and offers related activities, including storytelling and workshops. Classic episodes of Jackanory are being shown daily, including Willie Rushton narrating Winnie-the-Pooh stories. In artist-led workshops eight to 12-year-olds can create different types of books from pop-up to flick books. For details telephone 0141 287 0500.
