Chris Boyd Stands Up

Among the glittering line-up of personalities at the Jordanhill launch last week, Jotter was especially pleased to meet reclusive celebrity Chris Boyd.

Reclusive, that is, on his own behalf, but a prominent figure in the writings and in-service deliverances of his father, one Brian Boyd (series editor and part-author of the aforementioned CPD books) during the past 13 years of his school career.

It was like meeting a famous fictional character but Chris, we are pleased to report, is for real, and seems an extremely affable young chap who hasn’t minded the constant press attention too much. And if he seemed slightly relieved that no further school stories would be coming his dad’s way, there was perhaps an equal sense of apprehension on behalf of his current law lecturers.

At least they should know how to mount an injunction . . .
