Young city slickers from Abersychan comprehensive, Pontypool, have won a battle of the “bear pit” for the second year running. A Year 10 team beat off competition from schools in south-east Wales to make a profit of almost Pounds 300,000 in the stock market challenge 2006 competition in Cardiff.
They will now compete in the UK finals in York next month.
