Last week we reported that the 2010 GCSE results would be out on Thursday, August 26. The Joint Council for Qualifications has since announced that for the first time in a generation the results will not come out on a Thursday but instead on Tuesday, August 24. A-level results are still scheduled to be out on Thursday, August 19. In the same issue, a reference to Professor Bill Lucas’s book, rEvolution; How to Thrive in Crazy Times, which is published by Crown House Publishing, was omitted from the end of his Comment piece (“A for adapt, B for begin now, C for change”). Meanwhile, the byline picture for the article “FYI, your abbreviations are a little O.T.T” showed the wrong Geraint Davies - its author was the Geraint Davies who is head of arts faculty, Llantarnam School, Cwmbran.
