Bradford was listed as providing less than 10 hours’ tuition per week for all excluded children in 19992000. This is not true. All permanently excluded key stage 3 and 4 pupils attend one of two pupil-referral units and receive a minimum of 1.5 hours per week tuition. All permanently excluded primary pupils have seen an increase in home tuition from five to 10 hours per week.
