‘Cold war’ hurt

I was astonished to read Julie Morrice’s article about Logans primary school (TESS, January 23). My aunt was the previous headteacher and I know she has many fond memories of her time at the school and her relations with staff and parents. In fact I question whether or not some of the statements in the article are libellous. I have not shown her the offending article as I know she would be shocked and hurt to read that she supposedly left her school in a state of “cold war”.

May I also say that most of the staff who left the school have gone on to work openly with parents in promoted posts in other schools and do not recall this alleged state of cold war either.
