City of Westminster College, a further education college in west London, is one of 14 educational establishments around the country to win a design award from the Royal Institute of British Architects this week. The college was built at a cost of #163;102 million and was designed by Danish architects Schmidt Hammer Lassen. The award winners are eventually whittled down to make up the shortlist for the Stirling Prize, the “Oscars” of the architecture world.
