Colleges to run schools

Barnfield College has been approved by Government as one of the first group of institutions allowed to run a chain of secondary schools. One of six Accredited School Groups, the Luton college, which has already turned around the results of two nearby academies, will now be able to acreate a federation of three or more schools under its leadership. Bradford and Hull colleges have been granted Accredited Provider Status allowing them to run up to two secondary schools.
