TES columnist Libby Purves has been named Columnist of the Year in the What the Papers Say awards. She won the award for her weekly column in The Times.In January, she joined the TES team of opinion writers with a fortnightly column, sharing the popular Last Word slot on the back page with Ted Wragg.
