Troublesome toddlers and infants are born aggressive rather than learning from their environment, according to new research. Academics from Montreal University in Canada say it is natural for young children to be more physically aggressive than adults. As they mature, they learn to regulate their behaviour. Children who do not successfully learn this stand a much higher chance of developing into aggressive adults.
