‘Community focus’ to get clarification

The Assembly government is to issue new guidance on what it means to be a community-focused school, following concerns over a lack of clarity. The guidance will accompany the new school effectiveness grant, a replacement of previous funds for which schools will have to demonstrate how they have improved pupil learning and well-being against a checklist of pre-requirements.
