Soundwell College in Bristol has applied for cash to investigate how well colleges serve their local community.
Staff hope to compare student profiles held by colleges in the area with information about the communities they serve.
The project has been designed to promote ways of bringing more people into college in the wake of barrister Helena Kennedy’s report into widening participation in FE.
