Comp pupils gain better degrees

Pupils from comprehensives achieve higher-class degrees at university than independent and grammar school pupils with similar A-level and GCSE results, a study commissioned by the Sutton Trust and the Government shows. The study tracked 8,000 A-level students over a five-year period.
