Book Trust is inviting primary classes to do short reviews of their favourite children's books, to display them in an original and imaginative way, and submit the resulting presentations by July 14. A panel from the winning school will help pick the 1995 Smarties Book Prize winner from the shortlisted books, will attend the award ceremony in London, and will be awarded 10 sets of the winning books for the school library plus Smarties for everyone in the school. The Family Planning Association invites entries by July 28 from schools, health education, community and youth groups for good practice in sex education programmes for primary, secondary and special school pupils. PARTNERSHIP IN FOCUS Understanding British Industry's Teacher Placement Service sponsored by Agfa is offering Pounds 1,700 of prizes for photographs which illustrate business and education working together, closing date July 30.
