NComputing, which specialises in desktop virtualisation, where users share computing power, has developed a package for schools. Known as “Classroom in a box”, it enables schools to use just one PC to power 30 computers and claims to lower their maintenance and support costs by 75 per cent. www.ncom-puting.com.
