The Geographical Association’s annual conference on “Living Geography” will be held at Southampton University, April 10-12, admission free. There will be a varied programme of lectures, symposia, workshops and field trips and the 1995 GA Awards will be presented. Applications for the Awards are invited by December 1 from teachers of all age groups who have produced materials which will make a significant contribution to the teaching or learning of geography. Among several new GA publications are: Plans for Primary Geography by Wendy Morgan, junior vice-president of the GA, price Pounds 6, Pounds 4 members, and a photopack entitled Montreuil: a European place study, price Pounds 30, Pounds 20 members. Details as above.
