The Historical Association’s centenary secondary conference will be held at the Empire and Commonwealth Museum, Bristol, March 4. Key speaker will be Christine Counsell, editor of Teaching History, and workshops include: film in the history classroom; chronology and coherence: a course for key stage 3. The annual meeting and conference will be at Nottingham University, April 7-9. Seminars include Alf Wilkinson, Historical Association training manager, on “Putting the story back into history: writing for KS3”.
