The Royal Geographical Society’s annual conference “Global social justice and environmental sustainability” takes place at 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7, August 30-September 1. Sessions include rethinking maps, island tourism and sustainability, implementing climate policy, geographical perspectives, ecology and geomorphology, making the links for a sustainable future.

Explore 2006, the annual expedition and fieldwork planning seminar run by the Royal Geographical Society-Institute of British Geographers, will take place at its London headquarters, November 25-26.
