QCA will be sending five copies of its new guidance booklet to all schools, to support the implementation of the new GCSEs, together with programme of study booklets. Downloads will also be available from the website. QCA, in collaboration with Ofsted, Secondary National Strategy, and NAIGS (the National Advisers and Inspectors Group for Science), has organised three conferences for LEAs in the autumn term to discuss the implementation of the 2006 changes to key stage 4 science: Manchester - October 6; London October 7 and 10.
