The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation has funded the Global Canvas education pack. The resource aims to get pupils in key stages 2 and 3 to think about environmental issues. A ring binder has copious worksheets on topics such as pollution, biodiversity and endangered habitats. It also offers plenty of suggestions for work in and out of the classroom, such as investigating food chains or exploring pond life. There is also a project involving email exchanges with a school in rural India. The pack is available free on application to DSWF, 61 Smithbrook Kilns, Cranleigh GU6 8JJ.
