David Cameron has promised to reduce rudeness and antisocial behaviour and restore authority to teachers and parents. In a speech to the Royal Society, the Conservative leader accused Labour of irresponsibly promoting individual rights over community cohesion. He said that many adults were afraid to intervene when they saw children misbehaving, for fear of being sworn at or insulted.
