Last week’s Nationwide story “A-level variations: probe on the cards” mistakenly suggested that students at Colyton grammar in Devon gained an average of 254.6 points in their exams. This was, in fact, their average score per exam entered; Colyton’s average per student was 1,288 points, making it one of the best-performing state schools in England. We apologise for any confusion.
