City and Guilds and the Welsh Joint Education Committee have formed a partnership to cut administration costs and forge closer links between academic and vocational qualifications for schools and colleges in Wales. It is the latest in a series of associations and mergers between the vocational bodies and exam boards which provide post-16 qualifications.
