Strained relationships between teachers and senior managers at Portree High on Skye is a cause of its underperformance, an HMIE report stated this week. Inspectors rated seven aspects as weak, five as adequate and two as unsatisfactory, one of which is the old building currently being replaced.
Highland Council said it was already working on improvements before the inspectors reported.
