SCEMES is running the prize draw of all prize draws at the show, with staggering prizes available for both you and your school. Enter the draw by filling in a card on the stand, and you could make your school one of 10 to win a prize. Top prize is pound;10,000 cash for the winning school, with nine runner-up prizes of musical instruments, sports equipment, digital cameras and much more. What’s more, if your school is one of the 10 selected, you will be entered into a draw to win a brand new car for yourself. The draw will be made on March 11, with the winners announced on the stand.

What’s in a name? A bumper prize!

Visitors can enter a draw to name the new characters in the Pedagogs range, which will be showcased on the stand. The winning entry will be used for the character, and the winner will claim a key stage 1 bumper pack worth Pounds 385, which includes a host of motivational goodies and marking stamps to ease the burden of marking.

Get the complete set

Axis Education is giving one lucky teacher the chance to win a complete set of its Skillbuilders series. Each of the 32 photocopiable teaching manuals within is set in one of three real-life workplace settings (service, manufacturing and retail), and has been written by teachers for teachers. You can enter the draw by completing a form on the Axis stand.

The winner will be drawn at the end of the show.

Assessment tools... and a case of wine too

To celebrate its third year at the Education Show, Classroom Monitor is offering visitors the chance to win a copy of its award-winning assessment and report-writing package, worth a cool pound;1,895. The lucky winner and a runner-up will receive a case of wine as well. Entry details can be found on the stand.

Are you a Fleggybob workshop winner?

Anyone entering a prize draw at the Fleggybob stand can win one of 10 workshop kits. Each kit contains instructions and materials to make 250 Mini-Fleggybobs, and is aimed at younger children taking their first steps in reading. Simply pop along to the stand to enter the draw.

Solve the puzzle and pocket an iPod

If you fancy a challenge, then it’s well worth visiting the Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG) stand, where you will be asked to figure out the answer to a puzzling mystery - all it takes is a few simple calculations, we’re told. The lucky name pulled out of the prize draw will win an iPod Nano.

Saddle up

Lappset is renowned for its outdoor play equipment, and the company is offering visitors to its stand the chance to indulge in a little outdoor play themselves. Anyone who registers on the stand for the Lappset monthly newsletter will be entered in a draw to win an adult mountain bike.

Shoot to win

If you grow tired of the frenetic pace of the Education Show, take time out and have a little fun at the Target:Mars stand. The intriguingly titled “rocket ship darts” challenge asks you to fire rockets into the skies to win a host of prizes - hitting the stars wins resources, but hitting your targets will win you a discounted Target:Mars in-school event.

Get your thinking cap on

Visit the Tiger ProPlay stand and you could have your school’s outdoor play area resurfaced for free. Simply enter your organisation, and jot down a sentence explaining why you think you should win a safety surface system, and you could be a winner. The winner will be announced after the show, with runners-up receiving goody bags from sports governing bodies RFU, FA and ITF.
