The countdown has begun to the TES Schools Awards ceremony, the country’s most prestigious celebration of schools and those who work in them.
Comedian Dara O’Briain will be the host of the glittering gala night and dinner which will take place on Friday June 24, at London’s Grosvenor House hotel in Park Lane.
Tension is already mounting over who will scoop awards in 17 different categories, ranging from overall school of the year to headteacher of the year.
‘So much good work going on’
The awards aim to acknowledge the hard work of staff in early years, primary, secondary and special schools across the country.
There are also awards for teacher blogger of the year and resource author of the year.
Ann Mroz, editor of TES magazine, said: “The TES Schools Awards night is a fantastic celebration of so much good work going on across education and we look forward to it with excitement every year. This year’s event promises to be better than ever.”
Tickets for the gala dinner are now on sale on the TES Schools Awards website.
