Members of Scotland’s youth squads will be asked to keep performance diaries from next month to document their activities.

Cricket Scotland’s technical director, Peter Drinnen, believes the move will help the development of young players.

“This will aid with the consistency of a player’s development, as he or she is exposed to many different coaches at various levels, and all coaches will be aware of what each coach is working on,” he explains.
