Cricket Scotland is eager to boost the number of clubs taking part in its annual kwik cricket under-11 McDonald’s Trophy, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in July.

A dozen teams from all over Scotland took part in this year’s competition at Lochlands Park in Arbroath, which Arbroath United won for the sixth time, 235 runs to Aberdeenshire’s 206. Organisers are now keen to beef up the entry for next year and have more clubs and schools to take part.
