Eagle-eyed viewers of the latest Taggart series will have noticed the use of the interior of St Aloysius’ College for filming sequences set in classrooms, complete with kids clad in blazers. As the series was based on a religious cult, it came as no surprise to hear two St Aloysius pupils discussing the episode of the previous evening on the train to school.

“Did you see Taggart last night? “It was all about a religious cult.”

“You mean the Jesuits were in it?”
