Cult sabotages school

More than 20,000 children have been withdrawn from school in eastern Uganda in the past five years, according to reports from Kampala. The parents’ action amounts to the sabotage of official policy which makes primary schooling compulsory for all eligible children. The move is being attributed to the influence of the Injilli cult.
