Curriculum ‘unmanageable’

Teachers have criticised the primary school curriculum as overcrowded and ineffective. Almost 80 per cent of 1,434 primary teachers surveyed by the National Association of School Masters Union of Women Teachers, said the national curriculum was unmanageable. Some of the 20 per cent who said it was manageable, added comments such as “only just” and “with great difficulty”.
