Designing a carriage to safely carry an egg down a ramp and building a cargo boat were among the online challenges that Cardiff primary pupils were set in a national competition.
Cwrt-Yr-Ala juniors in Caerau, representing Wales, beat off competition from four other schools from across the country to win the BT competition and hi-tech equipment for their school.
They were presented with their prizes - a personal computer, DVD player, software and a digital camera - by Jacqui Gasson, the city’s mayor.
