Before he moves on to pastures new, Our Leader may want to sort out a knot of weeds in his own patch. Readers of The Diary will already be familiar with the TES’s “sister” website www.tes.org (not to be confused with the official www.tes.co.uk), which caters to “consenting adult members of New York’s leatherSMfetish community”.

But, while The TESs predicament is accidental, other coincidences of this kind are more contrived. A variant name of the Department for Education and Employment’s popular website www.dfee.gov.uk is being used for a commercial educational website www.eteach.com, giving it the opportunity to sell to thousands of confused parents and teachers typing www.dfee.com.
