If you have ever been curious about how teachers in Italy cope with behavioural difficulties, or how autistic children are treated in Denmark, the recently formed European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education may be of interest.
The agency aims to collect and disseminate information about research, innovations and educational practice from its member countries (the 15 European Union countries, Norway and Iceland).
The agency also organises courses and seminars for in-service training.
Further information from Mr Jorgen Greve, director, European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education, Teglgaardsparken 100, DK-5500 Middelfart, Denmark. Tel Den. 45 64 41 00 20. fax: 45 64 41 23 03. An Internet home page will be available soon, at http:www.european-agency.com.
