Many schools already have access to “expert help” able to provide “advice to pupils on using the internet”: librarians (“Schools get expert help to outwit cheats”, March 20). Librarians are information specialists who have always ensured that ideas are used ethically and appropriately. This is what they are trained to do. Originality checkers have their place - but so do good librarians.
