Step back in time to experience life at the heyday of Hadrian’s Wall on the northernmost edge of the Roman Empire.

Legio Prima and other Roman and Celt re-enactors are teaming up for Pax Britannica - one of England’s leading living history events tailored for 11 to 16-year-olds. Celtic and Roman displays, demonstrations and workshops have been adapted for schools, making them relevant to the curriculum, and an array of activities is sure to enthuse pupils.

There will be a range of re-enactors - Roman, Celtic, military and civilian - and all in one place at Walltown Recreation Site, near the village of Greenhead, Northumberland, adjacent to the Roman Army Museum.
