A new website, designed to encourage pupils’ interest in deaf studies, was launched this week.

The website, created by Bristol university’s centre for deaf studies, is intended to encourage potential students to study at the centre. A video display allows website visitors to take an online tour of the centre, accompanied by a British Sign Language interpreter. There is also a daily news programme for BSL users. The aim is to encourage research which will benefit the deaf community.
