Soldiers in Afghanistan and elsewhere are studying towards foundation degrees even in a war zone, thanks to a distance learning programme from London’s Westminster Kingsway College. The hospitality and food service management foundation degree allows military personnel with catering experience to gain business and management skills tailored for armed forces applications as well as the civilian world.
