Demand up in Wales

Demand for further education in Wales rose by more than 20,000 (12.6 per cent) to 191,000 last year. The biggest increase was in part-time student numbers which went up by 15.2 per cent. This compares with a rise of 3.8 per cent in the number of full-time FE recruits.
