This fast, exciting game helps children to consolidate mental and oral maths skills. It can be played individually or competitively in small groups.

You will need four, five or six dice. One child throws the dice. Using all the numbers and any mathematical signs, the children can be challenged to create an equation to give the lrgest or the smallest number or create an equation the answer to which is divisible by 2, 3 etc.

The children can only use each number once in each equation, but may use it in any way, such as (2x6) + (54x3) = or 63-51- (2x4) =.

The number of dice used and the rules can be adapted to the ability of the children.
