From Friday April 1, all children under 12 can visit the Design Museum in London free of charge thanks to extra funding from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. The museum’s education department offers regular workshops linked to exhibitions and a selection of free downloadable KS3 activity packs covering innovation, chairs, Memphis and Verner Panton are available online. Until April 1, the admission price for students from age 12 is pound;3.50 if booked in advance for a group of 12 or more.
