Schools are part of an ever-wider world, which, paradoxically, is also shrinking with faster communications. Several organisations have combined to produce Developing a Global Dimension in the School Curriculum, a set of guidelines for heads and senior LEA managers. It shows how the values propounded in the national curriculum should and can be linked to what is happening in other countres and societies.
