Furniture manufacturer Diamik will be demonstrating its “revolutionary” new material for laboratory worktops at the Education Show.

“Swanstone” is being hailed as the next generation of solid surface material, because of its strength and low cost. According to importer Sylmar Technology, the incorporation of glass fibres makes it five times stronger than other 13m-thick polyesters and acrylic materials, but6mm-thick Swanstone is cheaper because less material is required in its construction.

Swanstone will be reviewed shortly on the weekly Resources pages Diamik Ltd, Export House, Donisthorpe Street, Leeds LS10 1PL. Stand 224
