No fewer than two separate moles at the School Curriculum and Assessment Authority supply an extract from the organisation’s personnel newsletter. It reads: “Christine Kensett, who worked as PA to Christ [sic] Woodhead, the then chief executive of SCAA, has joined OFSTED on a permanent basis in the same position from 1 May 1996.” Informant one notes: “The second coming. Jesus inspects schools.” Informant two wonders: “Is this just a Freudian slip?”
And meanwhile, the School Curriculum and Assessment Authority appears to be acquiring a strange reputation. A letter requesting information from the Employment Service arrived last week, despite being addressed to the School Curriculum Harrassment.
