A woman who has "revolutionalised" school meals in Carmarthenshire has narrowly missed out on a top national award. Elin Cullin, head of facilities management at the council, made it to the final three of the public servant of the year awards at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. The only Welsh finalist, she was praised for developing the school meals service's healthy eating agenda.
