The dirty legacy of TV soaps

CHILDREN are watching adults screaming, fightng, shouting abuse, and rape in alleyways, without understanding half of it. Why should a 10-year-old know what rape is? This TV behaviour is being copied in primary school playgrounds all over the country. A whole generation of young children are being brutalised.

BBC and ITV did not mention this damning report from the Broadcasting Standards Commission on May 10.

I would like to see The TES expose this problem widely. TV soaps should be after 9pm.
